Some of the things I do

Projects, Products, Consulting, Open Source – This is only a small selection of my work. Get in touch to see more.

No Kahuna

No Kahuna makes teams tick. Whether at work, home, or among your friends, it helps you work together on projects big and small. There’ no fuss, no unnecessary features – just an easy, intuitive and reliable way to make sure everyone does their bit.

This was born largely out of my personal frustration with conventional group ware and project management tools. And just like myself, most people using No Kahuna see it as a game changer to how they work - regardless of their field.

Weewar screenshot

Weewar

Weewar is an award winning round based strategy game featuring real action on real maps. Thousands of players engage in cute little wars every day. And since it is all happening in the browser, Weewar can be played from anywhere - including the office :)

TN2020.net screenshot

Transatlantic Network 2020

The British Council asked me to develop an internet strategy for their TN2020 summit. Part of that strategy is TN2020.net. It works as a hub that allows members of the network to connect on multiple levels by aggregating their pictures, videos, links, blog posts, twitter messages - really any kind of content to do with TN2020.

I have also brought in a camera crew to create a video podcast covering the summit. New episodes were published every day. You can watch them on the site or via iTunes.

Spreedly

If you have a Subscription Based Service, Spreedly lets you collect one-off or recurring payments easily and securely. Integration with your site is quick and simple.

Let your customers upgrade, downgrade or renew - everything is fully automated. You can control and monitor everything from your dashboard.

(Spreedly also drives payments for both No Kahuna and Weewar)

Bloat.me screenshot

Bloat.me

Bloat.me creates fun little urls that bloat when clicked. This is not a unique service but nicer than most others. Based on some excellent open source software this project was conceived, built and launched quickly - a perfect fit for Twitter and the likes.

XHTML Chat screenshot

XHTML Chat

In 2005 I created this very simple AJAX chat. It has been up ever since and has become a popular example for AJAX. Instances are all over the web and it has been included in several books on the subject, too. The sources are available for download.

Irrepressible screenshot

Irrepressible.info

Irrepressible.info is based on an idea of mine which I was able to successfully pitch to Amnesty International. We (Soda Creative) built the site in a mere weeks and it become a very successful viral campaign against internet censorship and also marked Amnesty's 40th anniversary.
